AACode Research Cluster

Fabrication research into modular “bricks” created from curved folding of sheet metal. The shape and angle of each unit is determined by the alteration of 10 radii on each module. Each module is designed to be CNC cut and scored from sheet metal and robotically folded to the final shape. The corresponding software uses a target surface shape the individual units and generates a cut file for the entire partition.
